Similarly, virtually all metal connections expand as a system heats up, and then contracts as the system cools. Conventional worm gear, T-bolt, and other clamps are passive, in that expansion or contraction of components cannot be compensated for with out re-tightening or loosening the clamps. This clamping system is an “active” clamping mechanism, which monitors and then compensates for the changes by actually changing diameter through a unique worm gear Belleville assembly.

Specifications:

Hose I.D. - 1-1/4" to 2" Hose O.D. - 1.75" to 2.625"

Recommend max. torque - smaller id. sizes up to 730-3000 - 30 to 70 in.-lbs, larger id. sizes above 730-3000 - 50 to 120 in.-lbs

Construction:

Band & Housing: 304 Stainless Steel 5/8” Wide Band

Bellville Spring Washers & Screw: 401 Stainless Steel
