Open Quick List

After you sign in, click Quick List in the left menu of your dashboard (or go to recyclevar.com/dashboard/quick_list.php).

Paste your parts, one per line

A part number on its own is enough. If you have quantity, condition or price, add them in whatever format you already use: we read x40, qty 3, 8pcs, $265 and plain numbers alike. For example:

Check the matches

Every line is matched against our catalog of 280,000+ parts, so your listing gets the right manufacturer and a full description automatically. You can change any condition, quantity or price right in the table, or remove a line with .

  • Matched found in our catalog. Nothing to do.
  • Check more than one part fits: pick the right one from the list.
  • New part not in the catalog yet. Confirm the manufacturer and we add it.

You're live

Buyers can find your parts in search straight away. When someone posts a Wanted request for one of your parts, we email you.

Updating stock is the same two minutes. Paste the part again with the new quantity or price: a part you already list in the same condition is updated, not duplicated.

Choose your file

Go to Import / Feeds in your dashboard, open the Upload File tab, pick your file and click Upload & Map with AI. You need a part number column; manufacturer, description, quantity, price and condition are used when present. Not sure what to send? Download a sample file.

That's it

AI works out which column is which (part number, brand, quantity, price, condition) and imports the file. You see how many rows were added, updated or skipped.

Keep it up to date automatically. If your stock list lives at a web address or on an FTP server, set it up once under Import / Feeds → Scheduled Feeds and we refresh your listings every hour, every 6 or 12 hours, daily or weekly.

Type the part number

Click Add Item in your dashboard and type the part number. If it's in our catalog, the manufacturer and description fill in for you. Set condition, quantity and price, add warranty or location if you like, and click Add Item (or Save & Add Another). Internal notes are never shown to buyers.

Tips that get more buyer inquiries

Show a price when you can.
Listings with a price get contacted more. Leave it blank and the listing shows "Call for price".
Be exact about condition.
New, New Open Box, Refurbished, Used or For Parts. Buyers filter on it.
Keep quantities fresh.
Re-paste or use a scheduled feed. Lists that go a long time without an update get a reminder, then are hidden so buyers only see live stock.
Answer Wanted requests.
Buyers post what they need on the Wanted board. Replying with a quote is the fastest way to a deal.

Common questions

No. RecycleVAR is free for all members through December 31, 2026: listing, search, messaging and Wanted requests.

Buyers find your parts in search and on your company page, then contact you through the site. You get an email for every new message or inquiry, and you reply from Messages in your dashboard. You deal with the buyer directly.

List it anyway. Quick List marks it New part; confirm the manufacturer and it is added to the catalog with your listing.

Open My Inventory to edit or delete any item. To change quantity or price, you can also paste the part into Quick List again.

Buyers see your company name, location and listings, plus a phone number only if you add one to your profile. Your email address is never shown: buyers reach you through the site's message and inquiry forms.
