Surface preparation is crucial and should be tailored to the specific substrates in question. Reference the Sika® Pre-treatment Chart for guidance.</p><p><strong>Application Guidelines:</strong></p><p>Process Sikaflex® 295UV at temperatures between 10°C and 35°C for optimal results. The ideal conditions for performance are between 15°C and 25°C. To promote ease of application, allow the adhesive to acclimate to room temperature before use, and apply in a triangular bead for uniform thickness.</p><p><strong>Finishing and Tooling:</strong></p><p>Finishing should occur within the product's skin time using Sika® Tooling Agent N. Alternate agents must be assessed for compatibility.</p><p><strong>Cleanup:</strong></p><p>Uncured material can be cleaned from tools with Sika® Remover-208 or an appropriate solvent. Once cured, removal requires mechanical action. Clean exposed skin immediately using Sika® Cleaner-350H or a suitable hand cleaner.</p><p><strong>Painting:</strong></p><p>Sikaflex® 295UV can be painted before or after skin formation. If painting occurs after curing, consider treating the surface with Sika® Aktivator-100 or Sika® Aktivator-205 to improve adhesion. Ensure that paint types are evaluated for compatibility with the sealant.</p>
